What his clients say
“Mark was an incredibly responsive and resourceful agent! He genuinely cared about our family needs, connected us with local vendors, and had great knowledge of the local market – highly recommend!”
“Mark was a pleasure to work with and went above any beyond at every step of the process. He has great communication skills, very personable and a strong understanding of the local market. He will have your best interest in mind. I would only buy or sell with Mark.”
Adeel A.
A lifelong passion for real estate after his parents built their first home while he was in grade school led Mark Azar to his career as a realtor.
“It was a big move for our family, and I remember all of the planning that went into it, but most of all the excitement of having a new house and new beginnings,” states Mark.
His passion for community led Mark to Thrive when choosing to join a real estate brokerage.
“Thrive is part of the Shrewsbury Community and treats everyone like family. I moved here over 17 years ago when my son was first born and have seen how Shrewsbury and the surrounding towns change throughout those years.”
Mark’s goal is to “be there” for buyers or sellers every step of the way – to always be available to answer any questions, listen to their needs and to make the buying or selling process both fun and exciting – then go the extra mile! He recognizes that purchasing a home is the biggest investment that most people make.
Originally from western Pennsylvania, he earned a business degree and entered the corporate world which brought him to Massachusetts.
After 30 years of working in the corporate world, most recently as a Divisional Vice President at TJX for the HomeGoods Division, Mark decided to go after his dreams and pursue real estate.
“The skills I gained listening to others, creating budgets and leading a team all translate into what I do every day as a Real Estate Agent.”
In his down time, you can find Mark spending time with his son Joseph Ryan and English Golden Retriever Gunner. Recreations include golf, skiing, swimming, hiking and competing in 5K’s. Mark has even completed a couple of Boston Marathons.
The fact isn’t lost on him that buying or selling a home is very much like running a marathon.
“I still remember that feeling of accomplishment I had buying my first house. That is the same feeling I have when crossing the finish line of a marathon,” Mark noted. “I want that for my clients and their families when handing them the keys to their new home.”
Whether you’re buying your first home, upsizing to a larger house, buying an investment property, downsizing or selling, Mark considers it a privilege to help you on your journey.
